Other exemplary features include the extra reinforcement of two moving front bolts each 1.28 inches thick. These are larger than most front bolts that you can find anywhere else, providing added protection and security. There is also a vertical locking bar on the hinge side of the safe door that is designed to keep the door locked in case the hinges are cut off with a blow torch.
The FB-450E safe also includes a semi-customizable layout, with one adjustable shelf housed in 1.23 cubic feet of space, perfect for smaller valuables like jewelry, documents, camera lenses or anything compact that you need to protect. The safe also includes an anchor bolt hole on the inside and bolt-down hardware that will easily attach to any foundation that it sits upon. The Locking Mechanism
This safe features a glass re-locker which acts as a 2nd lock that engages when the lock pack is under attack. The outer side of the door and lock mechanism includes:
- a Tri-spoke handle
- a Heavy duty vault hinge
- Either an electronic Keypad (rated like an HP computer) or with a Sargent and Greenleaf Group 2 Dial Lock
